sooner got home, when we were on the road again...this time to the site of the
upcoming Ontario's regatta in sunny Parry Sound. <EM><STRONG>Sail Parry
Sound</STRONG></EM> is building a structure as we speak that will accommodate us
for the regatta. This promises to be an excellent event, with tons of
beach launching (don't forget your dollies), a race course as close as that of
the Outer Harbour, but with clean blue water, the promise of wind (after all the
trees look like they are windswept) a wonderful craggy shoreline and a
perfect place for the setting sun. If you're ambitious you can even
do the fitness trail which runs along the shore; I suggest you bring a
bell. The town (a 5 minute walk) looks like a quaint small town with an
all important LCBO and tons of places to eat. Accommodation info is
available on line through the <EM><STRONG>Sail Parry Sound</STRONG></EM> sight.
This could be a perfect excuse for a short summer holiday, especially our
American friends who we hope will make the trip north (remember Mike we have
Caesar's here!!). If its a boat or crew you need, let us know and we'll
try to hook you up. The Notice of Race is now on the CAA site with
convenient, secure on line payment. <A

let me know which list I should put you on: "Be There", "Still trying to put my
boat together" AKA "The Lame excuse" list, or the unsure "Because you're
disorganised" list. For our friends in the Outer Harbour, there is no shortage
of good serviceable trailers available......but you don't have a
hitch? What kind of a racer are you anyway, any car can tow an albacore
and its a short drive, it only feels long when you are driving on
fumes;). I think everyone will have a great time and <EM><STRONG>Sail
Parry Sound</STRONG></EM> has been working really hard to make sure that
everything will be right for us, so lets support their
efforts!! </SPAN></FONT></DIV>
