Folks --
Express27 race week is upon us. You can probably still get signed up for
prenats tomorrow.
Its not too late to signup for the nationals, if you haven't already done
so. Go to www.richmondyc.org download the entry form and off you go.
Enclosed is a one page summary of the key features of this event. Daily
photos of the racing, live band, express t-shirts and caps, two free kegs,
copious munchies, great food, and the all-important fleet meeting.
Don't miss it. Also, don't hesitate to invite your family to the soire.
Also, Our measurer has just returned from the National Bureau of Standards
in Boulder, CO, with the official scale for the weighins, duly calibrated to
the nearest nanogram. It will be available this weekend at RYC, so you can
calibrate your crew's weight against the NBS (or whatever they call
themselves these days). So, if you can after the prenats stop in and check
your weight. It will be in the Junior room after the racing till around 630
or so.
