All sailors are invited to participate in the Vanguard 15 Midwinter Series, held at Treasure Island Sailing Center.
The first event is the Holiday Classic and will be held this coming Saturday, December 16th. Registration opens at 12 noon. A small fee will apply. Sign up at http://vanguard15.org/schedule/342.
This is a great chance to practice lighter air techniques or try out the Vanguard 15. All races will be held in Clipper Cove, which is known for flat water and little current. If you are new to the V15 fleet, sign up on crew list (http://vanguard15.org/crew/) or place a posting with a ficticious sail number on the regatta page (http://vanguard15.org/schedule/342).
Lasers are welcome if you are comfortable with hoisting the boat into the water, as the ramp is up for the winter. FJs or 420s are also welcome and will have their own start if 5 or more boats show up.
