Dear Vanguardians,
The end-of-year Fleet Awards Night is upon us!
Here are some details:
- Where: Bayview Boat Club http://bayviewboatclub.org/
- When: This Friday, November 16
o 6:30pm cocktail hour
o 7:30pm dinner
o 8:00pm awards
- What:
o Cocktails at the BBC bar and potluck appetizers / dessert. Let
me know if you would like to volunteer an appetizer or dessert for the
evening.
o $5 dinner including: Chicken or Veggie Enchiladas, Spanish
Rice, Mexican Black Beans, Sour Cream, Guacamole, Salsa, and Green
Salad.
o Awards including: Fleet awards (i.e. best crew, best social
chair, etc... please vote at our website
http://vanguard15.org/schedule/), Championship Series awards, and
Thursday Night Series awards sponsored by Svendsens.
- Why:
o Always fun to gather the fleet at a good bar.
o 10th anniversary of Fleet 53, and dedication of the Founders'
Cup perpetual for the Championship Series.
o If you're not there, you may be entered in the pool of nominees
for next year's fleet officers :p
o Why not?
