Hello Vanguardeners,
After long discussions with Mayor Newsom, we have decided that we
cannot disclose the precise route of this Thursday's Vanguard 15
races. If we disclose the number of laps, number of races, or
positions of the marks, we run the risk of protestors hurling
themselves in front of our daggerboards as we plane around the
windward mark, or grabbing our masts to try to flip us as we execute
roll jibes around the offset. All I can tell you know is that the
races will be near TISC, they will start at 6:30 (6:15 for lasers),
and that there will be beer and Mount Gay Rum. I can also tell you to
sign up now at http://vanguard15.org/schedule/454, to show our strong
support for Vanguard 15 sailing in the face of adversity.
