Vanguardians:
The J/105 fleet is looking for a relatively light individual who is not
afraid of heights to help with the boat measurement process for the upcoming
North Americans on Sunday July 17th. As each boat is measured, this person
will be pulled up the rig in a bosun's chair or climbing harness with one
end of a tape measure to help measure each boat's headstay length.
Measurement will take place at the St. Francis guest docks. The hours will
depend on the boat signups but will probably be from 9 am to 5 pm. You'll
get $100 for your efforts and lunch will be provided.
We're also looking for race committee volunteers for any of Thursday -
Sunday August 21 - 24th. You'll get a great view of the racing and an
invitation to all of the social events.
