Dear Fleet,
Please see the attached message from Lacey. If you have your boat on a
dolly I strongly recommend making some preparations for the storm. I
can't make it today, but If anyone is already going, perhaps you can
help take down masts of your fellow Vanguards.
Thanks,
Tom

> Please secure your boat at Treasure Island Sailing Center
>> To all Treasure Island Sailing Center Tenants,
>> There is a storm expected to hit the Island Today. Please come to
> TISC immediately to secure your boat. In the past we have had boats
> land on other boats and create damage. For the safety of your boat
> and for the rest of the tenants please make sure that your boat is
> secure. The latest weather forecast predicts wind speeds of 25-40
> mph and gusts of 60-70 mph are possible. The storm is expected to
> last through Wednesday.
>> We strongly suggest that all dinghies take down their masts. The
> mast should be secured to the trailer or boat. Please do not secure
> your boat to our fence, this damages the fence. We will untie your
> boat from our fence. Please tie down your boat, preferably to a
> heavy anchor like a concrete filled bucket.
>> TISC will be raising the ramp and moving in the docks until the
> storm is over.
>> When coming to TISC please use the back entrance. Follow the sign on
> California Ave. for Sailing Center. You will be turning right at the
> road block on California and left when you reach the water and the
> road will end at our back gate. Please DO NOT DRIVE in the TISC
> facility. For the safety of the children and the boats we are not
> allowing cars in the yard. You can use the mule or push your boat in
> and out of the yard. As another reminder Treasure Island will be
> closed this Wednesday the 14th for the Oracle event.
>> Treasure Island Sailing Center is not responsible for any damages
> caused to your boat from a storm. Please take the necessary
> precautions to prevent any damage.
>> Please contact Lacey Todd for any questions or concerns.
>> Thank You,
>> Lacey Todd
