Volunteers for Big Team Regatta Fundraiser Needed



Treasure Island Sailing Center (TISC) is looking for Volunteers to partake
in their biggest fundraiser of the year: the 2010 San Francisco BIG Team
Regatta. The BIG Team Regatta is a corporate sailing challenge to benefit
community and outreach youth sailing programs all over the country. There
are four regattas run across the United States, with the San Francisco
regatta benefitting TISC's youth and adaptive sailing programs. This year
the regatta will be taking place on Friday, September 30th with sailing all
day and a great party in the evening!



*Date:* Friday, September 30th



*Time:* Shifts from 7:00am to 8:00PM

Shift 1: 7:00am-10:00am

Shift 2: 10:00am-1:00pm

Shift 3: 1:00pm-4:00pm

Shift 4: 4:00pm-8:00pm



*Location:*

OCSC Sailing

1 Spinnaker Way

Berkeley, CA 94710



*Volunteer Description:*

No specific skills required for this volunteer event.



*Shift 1:* Set up, decorations, check in, breakfast preparation, boat
preparation, gift bag assembly, and directing parking. Set up includes
arranging tables, securing table cloths, hanging posters, arranging table
decoration, making flower arrangements, placing snacks in boats, applying
stickers to boats, assembling recycling stations, and more.

*Shift 2:* Breakfast clean up, lunch preparation, prepare and wrap awards.

*Shift 3:* Serve and clean up lunch, prepare dinner, decorate for party,
arrange awards table.

Shift 4: Serve dinner, assist with awards ceremony, bartending, and clean
up.
