*Subject:* Opportunity to help TISC and enjoy some quality "Bay Time" on
Wednesday
This email is going to a few TISC volunteers who have helped with projects
in the past and from time to time have shown some flexibility in work
schedules.
This summer we received a grant to help clean up and spruce up our J/24
fleet. One project will be to have the hull from sheer line to keels
painted similar color.
On Wednesday we will be splashing two J/24's, unstepping their masts, and
transporting them to Bay Marine Boatworks in Pt. Richmond.
We're all set on the unstepping part (although volunteers are always
welcome). We're looking for one additional volunteer to help drive one of
the two J/24's from TISC to Bay Marine starting at 10 am. This will be a
mast-down, outboard powered portage which we expect to take less than three
hours and will start around 10am. Once at Bay Marine we will arrange for a
ride back to TISC, expected ETA around 3 pm.
If you would like to spend a few hours on the Bay on Wednesday and have the
schedule flexibility to do so, please let me know.
Thanks for your support, D-
