My son had the front zip version practicing / racing regularly on FJs and in a harness on 420s. The side stitching came apart in less than a year and other areas were fraying badly.
We took it back to Svendsen's and they sent it back to Gill who replaced it no charge. Great customer service from both.
Looking at what the kids are wearing the Stohlquist seem to be holding up better over time (and teenagers can be hard on gear).
