<DIV>1) Most of have you have heard from me or Holt already on this, but I'd like to put in another push for chartering your boat out for Nationals (August 17-20) if you're not planning on racing. Last year in Chicago, the breakdown of charters costs went as shown below.</DIV>

<DIV>2005 - 2006 boats (new construction hulls): $500</DIV>
<DIV>2001 - 2004 boats: $400</DIV>
<DIV>1996 - 2000 boats: $300</DIV>
<DIV>Pre 1996 boats: $200</DIV>

<DIV>The above includes hull, spars and basic lines. Blades and sails are extra:</DIV>
<DIV>Blades: $50</DIV>
<DIV>Sails: $50</DIV>

<DIV>If you're interested helping some out of town folks get out on the water, and putting some money AND karma in the bank, please consider chartering. I have a few people asking about charters, and not so many people eager to charter at this point! </DIV>

<DIV>2) Svendsens is considering chartering out some of their new boats for nationals, but only if there are people interested in buying them after. I'm not sure of pricing at this point, but if you're looking for a just-about-brand new boat at a bit of a discount, this could be a great way to get it.
