Stephen,
Except sinking this is the worst which can happen to one's boat. I am very sorry for you.
Best Regards
Jean

No Pat, this is not good publicity. Tchoupitoulas was t boned and dismasted in a collision with a Beneteau 36. I wasn't aboard so I will let Chris tell the story but I'll will say, Tchoup was on starboard. After seeing the damage I'm amazed that no one was hurt. She is damaged to within an inch of her life and her future is unsure.

Hey Santanas,
When I arrived home a few minutes ago, Sutter had a message on the
phone about a possible Tuna dismasting in Saturday's ODCA S. Bay
races. Anyone know the skinny? If you do - either because you are
now motoring around in a 22-foot wanna be water ski boat -- or if you
witnessed a big splash -- give Sutter a call or send along an
email. Any photos?
Look at it this way (the way Paris, Lindsey, and JLo do): Any news
is good publicity. 'Come on, don't be shy -- it's your chance for 10
minutes of Lat. 38 fame.

Thanks,
Pat (who spent the weekend with family, not on the water)
