On the 28th, the long spinnaker race, we have an option of racing out to
Bonita or sailing one of two shorter in the bay courses. Because there
would be an adverse current both directions and it would be nice to have
some hope of finishing, I requesting that we be given a shorter in the bay

I had no interest expressed in a proposed Sunday practice the weekend before
Nationals. That will be good for my progress on my internet courses in
Pathophysiology and Pharmacology, but it makes me concerned about our
potential showing at nationals. Day 2 of the 2nd half opener had more
interest but, I am still concerned that we don't have enough people to make
it a worthwhile practice session. Only Bonito and Tchoupitoulas (the wild)
have indicated that they could make the date. Unless we can get at least 5
boats out there I don't think it is worth doing day 2. So, if you are
interested, speak now! There are some nice short courses that they could
run us on. It would be fun!
