Just to clear up any confusion, I had the mast step thing completely
backwards. Unless you have excessive weather helm, do not move it forward.
Moving it back gives you weather helm, forward lee helm. Somebody was nice
enough to set my mast up quite nicely in the right position many years ago,
and I won't be touching it.
