[Santana 22] More rub rail ?s

I may have asked this in the past, so apologies if this is a repeat.
 
My rub rail is coming off (well, it's been partially off for a looooong time) and on the recommendation of another boat owner I'm considering using 3M 5200 polyurethane adhesive / sealant (http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/producte/10001/-1/10001/250928/0/0/5200/All_2/mode+matchallpartial/0/0) to permanently affix it to the deck to hull seam.  The one obvious downside would be that this would make it difficult to take off and replace.  Does this seem like a good idea or a bad idea?
