Hi, all,
This year's Women's Sailing Seminar hopes to again use the Santana 22
on Sunday, October 12 for the one-design racing in the Estuary.
This is very informal as races go, but each boat will have an
instructor, an owner or owner's rep, and a few "students." If you can
bring your boat, it would be great. The start is usually around
11:00, but there is a skippers meeting first and the women are
expected to rig the boats for the experience. We typically do 3-4
races, with lunch in there somewhere (oh, and you do get lunch) and
have a little trophy presentation and recap afterward. There are
places to tie up if you do not keep your boat nearby.
This is really fun and really gratifying.
Please let me know if you can help
If this e-mail fails to reach the class, but some of you get it,
could you let me know, please. Thanks.
