Hi Tuna sailors,
It's hard to believe, but it's time to start thinking about midwinters!
Last year the Tunas did the Encinal Jack Frost series on the Berkeley
Circle as a white sails series, and we had a good turnout. Would people be
up to do this again? Michael Andrews confirmed Tunas are welcome again as
an OD-class. Please let us know what your plans are. The dates for the Jack
Frost are:
November 17, 2012
January 19, 2013
February 16
March 16
For new skippers who are considering joining the fun of one-design racing
next year, the mid winters are a great introduction to racing. Usually
conditions are milder than during the summer, and racing is more relaxed.
So don't hesitate to sign up, or ask Jennifer or me for more details. Also,
if you would like to crew for these races, please let Jennifer or me know
and we'll help you find a boat.
