Ahoy sailors,
We'd like your input on the 2015 racing season. What we propose is:

White sails series

Sat April 11 Wheeler regatta 3 races Berkeley Circle BYC
Sat April 18 YRA Spring #1 2 races Knox/ Bonita (ask for 2 races on
Knox course) YRA
Sat May 16 YRA Spring #2 2 races Berkeley Circle YRA
Sat June 13 YRA Spring #3 2 races South Bay YRA
Sat July 11 YRA Summer #1 2 races Southampton
Sat & Sun July 18 & 19 Nationals Knox 5 races CYC
Sat Aug 8 YRA summer #2 2 races South Bay YRA
Sat Sept 12 YRA summer #3 2 races South Bay YRA

This would give a total of 20 races and we propose 5 throwouts. This means
that you have no throwouts left if you miss nationals. We'll vote on the
throwouts at the fleetmeeting, but please let us know if you have any

For the Spinnaker series we propose to include some SSS races:
Sat Jan 31 - 3 bridge fiasco SSS
Sat March 28 Corinthian Race SSS
Sat & Sun May 2 & 3 Great Vallejo race YRA
Sat Sept 5 Jazz cup BYC

This would be 5 races with one throw out. I ran this by the spinny sailors
and we'll have Oreo, Sail la Vie, and Byte Size for at least some races and
I saw Auggie signed up for the 3 bridge, so our spinnaker fleet remains
alive! Since we'll sail PHRF skippers can choose if they want to use their
genoa with PHRF 234 or their class jib with PHRF 237. Sorry this may come a
bit late for some of you, please let us know if that is a problem

We'll get back to you with a date for a fleet meeting and will set up a
Tuna Tune up in Clipper Cove that Frank Lawler (Tackful) has volunteered to
run in late March or early April. Any suggestions and all help are much

Looking forward to seeing you on the water in 2015!

Cheers, Garth & Anna
