Try ebay or Minney's in Newport Beach-they're great for slightly used boat parts. Huge inventory.

For the frozen winch, the culprit could be old grease in the bearings etc that has turned into glue. Take everything all apart, clean everything with WD-40 to remove all old grease, then grease it all as you put it back together. I bought my jib winches (from Minney's) completely frozen, gave them a big WD-40 bath as they got taken all apart, and now they're fine

Mike Kennedy

----- Original Message ----
From: Kevin McElroy
Barient 8 (not vital..spinny sheets which we don't use)..bearings gone.
Anybody have spare parts for these winches?
Or, spare winches they would want to part with?
Thanks
Kevin #570
in Gashouse Cove
