<DIV>Steve: Is this motor more powerful than the Torqeedo 801 I tested a couple months ago? My letter to Latitude in the february issue describes the experience with that one. Basically, the problem seems to be that these motors reqire so much juice for a 1.5 ton boat that the battery packs are either a) extremely expensive (the lithium-based ones), or b) extremely heavy (lead-acid based). But perhaps the C2.0 is a different animal. (A Moore 24 is about 600 lbs lighter than a Tuna, their min weight is 2050.)</DIV>

One of our customers purchased one of these Torqueedo motors for a slightly too large boat. The motor was used for about 10 hours and they would love to make someone a pretty good deal. If you have not seen one of these they are really great for a small boat. There are couple in use on some Moore’s in SC.</SPAN></FONT></P>
