Did they extend the time limit? Pipsqueek had a nice lead going into Alcatraz but cut it to close and got caught in the washing machine and wind shadow. One of the tunas cut inside the restricted bouy at Angel Island, don't think it made any difference but hey read the SIs.</P>

A half and hour earlier, Spitfire was ¼ mile ahead of us when they decided to head home. We had a great time this weekend but also learned that a VHF radio is a “must” for this type of event. Nice light breezes through the slot and round the rock until we hit AI........ We DNF'd about 4:30 close to South Hampton! </SPAN></FONT></P></DIV>
