<div>I agree that it would be a shame to lose our OD status with the YRA. Also, this weekend's races are on the Cityfront-one of the most challenging racecourses in the world and my favorite SF Bay venue.</div>
<div>That said, with an 8 week old baby at home, I won't be able to get out for full days on the boat for a while yet (I was overly obptimistic when I signed up), so Pariah won't be out there after all. Sorry to miss it.</div>
<div>Meanwhile I've been getting my sailing fix in shorter excursions, doing the EYC Friday nights on the Estuary. This Frioday is the 3rd race of the Spruing series, and so far it's been just us, duking it out with a Harbor 20 in non-spin (Bonito is sailing with spinnakers in another class). Hopefully some more Alameda boats will be able to join us once the summer starts up.</div>
<div>Good luck this weekend-I'll be home changing diapers, trying to get a nap in, and daydreaming about short-tacking the Cityfront. Looks like pretty good flood, so get ready for lots of tacks and Starboard roundings. Hvae fun!</div>

It would be a drag to lose our one design status if we do not have five boats out this season.

<div>Let me know. Can the fleet help get more boats out?</div>
