Hello all-
It was a great 2010 Fleet Champs. Congratulations to Sally and Adam for
their hard-fought one-point victory over Andrea and Andrew after 29 grueling
races - full results at http://vanguard15.org/schedule/560. Also another
thanks to Natasha and Andrew for the amazing food!
At Inverness YC, someone left a pair of men's Magic Marine hiking pants and
Patagonia shorts and, separately, a highly labeled black background sports
shirt. If either is yours, email Michael Meszaros ( <mailto:mwhut at svn.net>
mwhut at svn.net) and he'll drop it off at St. Francis sometime.
As a reminder, a few folks have expressed interest in doing the Fall Dinghy
at StFYC 10/23-24. If you are interested, email Fred Konkel at
fkonkel at gmail.com.

Hello all-
The hotly-anticipated 2010 Fleet Champs are of course this weekend. If
you're not signed up, we have 14 boats and it's not too late for more:
http://vanguard15.org/schedule/560
If you're coming up and new to the regatta, a few things to be aware of:
1) Food is provided for lunch and dinner Saturday and lunch Sunday.
You're on your own for Friday night and breakfasts. People typically grill
at the campsite Friday night and get breakfast in Pt. Reyes Station in the
mornings, if they're so inclined. There's also a restaurant/bar within
walking distance of the campsite that serves coffee etc.
2) Non-sailing guests (and four-legged friends) are welcome! If you're
bringing extra people, please note them on the signup page so we have a
count for campsites and food.
3) I will be bringing a lot of beer for the group but I suggest you
also bring some of your own.
4) If you're arriving on Friday night, please park your trailer outside
the gate at Inverness YC for the night. Don't park them at the campsite.
Our campsites are #1,2,3,14, and 15 (you can see a map at
http://www.olemaranch.com/pdfs/Olema_Camp_Map-web.pdf). I'd suggest the
"rowdier" people go to the latter 2 sites - I'll see you there!
5) The Inverness YC gate will be open at 9am Saturday. When you get
there, please move your car outside once you're unloaded.
Sarah Deeds (sarah.deeds at gmail.com) is organizing the trailering so if you
still need a spot, contact her. Any other questions, call me at
415-846-3629.
See you tomorrow night!
