If folks are interested in getting mast float things (aka "anti-turtling devices"), read on...
Alex had this one from Intensity Sails, about $60: http://www.intensitysails.com/antumafl.html. I think APS also has them.
It also happens I have a sailing friend on the east coast who makes pretty burly foam ones that slip over your sail and are maybe a little more subtle (since they're white, although you can also get them in other colors).
