If it measures in and you like the sail, buy it.
Provided it measures in, I consider it to be useable for all but two
sail / class lapper and main only ("white sails") races such as the YRA
- ODCA races and the Nationals.

Sail cloth, fibers and film on 155% genoas used in other fleet racing
shall be limited
to Polyester and Kevlar products. (added 2003)
I would take "other fleet" to be anything but ODCA. Kevlar is in.
