Dear Greg,
I have no idea.
But my Santana 22 #300 is 42 yr old, and was the most ugly in the SCYC dry
storage area. I considered buying a new one, but as you know cost around
$42,000. I was referred to Craig Smith, Watsonville 831-722-1654. He knows
his boats, including discouraging 1 person from buying a certain Santana 22.
I had him do much on my boat, and am very happy.
He is the one we use to also do major repairs on the El Toro boats we use
for the kids. While my boat was there several boats came in who had on the
water crashes. I was impressed how quickly and how well he did the repairs.
I agree you need to know what you are buying, so as to not have unexpected
problems or bills.
