Okay, a serious reply.
Sheaves are grooved for either wire or rope. The wire model has a
"V" groove for the wire to run in. The rope model has a "U" shaped
groove. Even though high tech line is smaller than the Stayset-X or
that kind of older line, it still is more "rope-like" than wire. If
you're replacing wire with rope, you may have to replace the sheaves
with rope models.
