Hello fellow Tuna enthusiasts,
Please read the message below and decide if you can help out with this very worthy event. Dawn is looking for one or two more boats to add to the fleet that has already committed. The participants and organizers have a lot of fun!
This event has been going on for a number of years on Santana 22's and has created enough interest that at least a few boats found new owners from the participants.
I have copied Dawn on this e-mail. If you want to participate, please e-mail Dawn.
Thanks a bunch.

Subject: Women's Sailing Seminar - Santana 22 Races on Sunday
Hi Tom, Thanks so much for contacting the Santana 22 fleet.
We could use a couple of more Santana 22s for Sunday's races. The boat and owner would need to be at the Alameda Marina around 11am, we'll have a class about racing at Island Yacht Club. After class students, owners (who can choose to be on their boat or not) and instructors go to their boats, have lunch and get aquainted with the boat. Racing starts around 1pm.
We usually run three races, which are actually quite tame as most students are relatively new to sailing. Afterward we wrap up with appetizers and prizes for everyone. Usually done around 4-4:30pm.
Thanks again,
Dawn
