A wide ranging discussion of sails oriented towards the cruiser:

> Advantages/Disadvantages of different reefing techniques
> Downwind tradewind sailing techniques - twin jibs vs. main and jib vs. main and

> Downwind light air sails and handling thereof
> Dowsing systems for asymmetric and symmetric spinnakers: socks and furlers

Kame Richards is the owner of Pineapple Sails, a full service sail loft located
in Alameda. He is well known throughout the Bay Area for his interesting and
entertaining talks on Tides, Currents and racing in general. This will be a
great opportunity to get his take on the sailing aspects of cruising.
