TISC would like to remind all tenants and visitors that we have been
conducting weekly inventories to ensure all boats are in the proper space. *

Here at TISC, we have been making large efforts to improve our facility and
the services we offer. We have been moving boats into their correct spaces
without charging any fees in order to ensure the tenants all had ample time
to transition into the new space numbers. We have provided this service for
3 months without assessing any fees.****
** **
We now are enforcing the rules as stated in your contract. To clarify, the
following procedures are in effect:****
**· **Any boats left in the yard without a tenant contract will be
placed in impound and assessed a $150 impound fee. Additionally, the boat
will be charged monthly rent for time spent in impound****
**· **Any boats that are outside of their assigned space will be
assessed a fee so that a staff member can move the boat into the correct
space. Tenants paying for rack space and keeping them on a dolly will be
charged for a dolly space until the boat is placed back into the racks****

Unfortunately, this past week we impounded several boats that were not in
our tenant file. Please see Kevin in the office if your boat has been
impounded. He will be at TISC until 6pm. ****

Attached you will find a tenant contract for those who wish to store their
boat here or a visitor form for those who would like to stay for a short
time. I have also attached a credit card form if anyone needs to pay via
credit card. ****

If you could make an announcement tonight regarding these rules that would
be helpful. We appreciate your cooperation and please let me know if you
have any questions.****

These tenant spaces help to support the Treasure Island Sailing Center’s
outreach efforts. Last year TISC was able to serve over 1,000 members of
the general public and over 600 youths (70% of which were on scholarship)!
We appreciate your support of community sailing in the bay area and we
hope to continue grow the sport of sailing here at TISC. ****
