2 vs 4 stroke
I like 2 stoke better.  The holes in the 4 stroke carbs are smaller  
and tend to plug up more frequently.  If you disconnect gas and run  
till the engine stall this helps some.  As mentioned previously 4  
stroke are much heavier, and are larger. I just bought a 1960 Made in  
America Johnson 3 hp for High and Dry with a gas tank. Bought on  
craigslist for $200.   And always carry an anchor and paddle for  
stalling emergencies.  Hope to be ready to  join the rest of the tuna  
fleet in 2011.
